goes a long way.
How deep should gravel be?
Paths and borders: about 40–50 mm. Driveways: 50 mm of gravel on a compacted sub-base. Deeper gravel is hard to walk and drive on.
What is a bulk bag?
A bulk bag (or “jumbo bag”) of gravel usually holds about 850 kg, enough for roughly 10–12 m² at 50 mm deep.
How accurate is this?
It gives a good estimate for planning and ordering. Check the coverage and sizes on the products you buy, measure carefully, and keep receipts so you can return unopened extras.
