How is cost worked out?
For each ingredient: pack price × (amount used ÷ pack size). Add them up and divide by servings.
Cost = price × used ÷ pack size
What about cupboard staples?
Oil, spices and seasonings add a little to every meal. Use the store-cupboard allowance to cover them.
